Volleyball Blue/White and Alumni Games are Friday

The 2014 volleyball season opener is two weeks away and the members of the senior and junior high teams are anxious to get on the court and play some serious ball. To give their fans an idea of what the squads are going to look like this season, the girls will be playing a blue vs white match.

In addition to the girls playing each other, several former or alumni members of the Lady Eagle volleyball teams will be back to face off in an odds vs evens alumni game.

The junior high squad will kick off the night beginning at 5 p.m. with two sets. The alumni game will then take place with the odds vs evens and also playing two sets. Following the alumni game, the senior high team with play their blue vs white match of two sets.

Provided they are not worn out from their odds vs evens match, the alumni will finish out the night by playing a set against the winner of the senior high blue vs white matches.

There will not be a cash admission for these matches; however, the players have requested that those attending please bring donations of bobby pins, hair ties, and good strong deodorant.

So Friday night, head on out to the Paris High School volleyball gym and take in the junior, senior, and alumni volleyball games.
