Dover defeats Subiaco Academy, 28-17

The Subiaco Academy Trojans dropped their final football game of the season last Friday, losing to the Dover Pirates, 28-13.

The loss puts Subiaco Academy’s record at 3-7 for the season, 1-6 in the conference.

The Trojans got touchdowns from Kelly Hollis and Chris Post in the game.

Hollis rushed the ball 16 times for 90 yards. He threw the ball 17 times and completed nine for 178 yards. Post caught six passes for 130 yards.

Subiaco Academy’s offense was pretty balanced. The Trojans got 118 yard rushing and 179 passing for a total of 296 yards. However, the Trojans defense surrendered 333 yards rushing and 24 yards passing for a total of 357.

Defensively, Joseph Hart led Subiaco, getting 12 tackles. Andrew Komp had 11 tackles. Logan Weisenfels and James Wells had 10 tackles each.
