County Line advances to semifinals

County Line is one win away from playing for a state championship.

The Indians rallied Monday to beat Caddo Hills, 46-42, in the Class A quarterfinals at North Arkansas College in Harrison and will play in the 1A semifinals for the second year in a row.

County Line (30-8) will play Wonderview (26-8) in the semifinals today at 5:30 p.m. The Indians defeated Wonderview, 61-60, back on Oct. 22.

“We executed down the stretch and hit some key free throws,” County Line coach Joe Brunson said. “They (Caddo Hills) did a good job on us.”

Evan Franklin led the Indians with 17 points. Cody Goodson and Cory Wilhelm had 13 and 10, respectively.
