Wynona Campbell

Wynona Campbell, 92, who resided in Charleston, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 in Fort Smith.

She was born June 5, 1922 in Logan County near Paris to the late Elmer Dill and Ethel (Moses) Dill. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Cecil Campbell; one son, Bobby Britt Campbell; and one brother, Joey Dill.

She was the manager of the Charleston Shirt Factory for several years. She also worked for Lady Fair Mills near Ratcliff and was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Larry Horne officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy McDonald of Charleston; two sons, Garry Campbell of Greenwood and Dale Campbell of Charleston; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two special friends and caretakers, Kenny and Cindy Hewitt.

Pallbearers will be Rusty McDonald, Colton McDonald, Jeremy McDonald, Ryan McDonald, Andy McDonald, Shaun (McDonald) Barnett, Rodney Campbell, Dustin Brassfield, and Kenny Hewitt.

Family will visit with friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the funeral home.
