Lou Ann Manning, 88, who resided in Charleston, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Charleston.
She was born March 20, 1926 in Paris to the late Claude Scrivner and Martha Rowena (Johnson) Scrivner. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Kay Manning; five sisters and six brothers.
Ann worked for Therma-Tru in Kansas City, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Vondal Davenport officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery, located north of Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Andrew Manning; one daughter, Sherry Morgan of Las Vegas, Nev.; one granddaughter, Alishia Smalley of Las Vegas, Nev.; one grandson, Michael Rodenberg and wife Trish of Pine Bluff; two great-grandchildren, Kylie Ann and Matthew Robert Rodenberg.
Pallbearers will be Mike Soller, Jim Olienyk, Doug Olienyk, Tim Dodd, Eli Dodd, Dicky Scrivner, Dennis Schluterman, and Tommy Wainwright.
Family will visit with friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
