Laurence Paul Schulte

Laurence Paul Schulte, 90, who resided in New Blaine, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Russellville.

He was born July 27, 1923 in New Blaine to the late Frank Schulte and Annie (Friga) Schulte. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Schulte. He was owner and operator of Schulte Construction Company in Little Rock, which he started in 1945. He was a WWII Army veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church in New Blaine.

Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Friday, June 20th, at St Scholastica Catholic Church in New Blaine with Fr. Bruno Fuhrmann, O.S.B. officiating.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21. 2014, at St. Scholastica Catholic Church with Fr. Aaron Pierrera, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will be at St. Scholastica Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Ashley Schulte of Hot Springs and Jane Anne Schulte of Little Rock; one son, Stanley Schulte and wife Charlene of Little Rock; one sister, Mildred Trent of Texas; three grandchildren, Pascha Tieszen of Michigan, Bridget Rogers of Bentonville, and Seth Schulte of San Francisco, Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Stryder and Stella Schulte, Noah and Lucas Rogers, and Autumn Tieszen.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Hart, Joseph Hart, Ronnie Morse, Bobby Rose, Kim Arnall, and Marc Rogers.
