Janet Ellingberg, 73, of Paris, passed away on July 30, 2014 in Fort Smith.
She was born in Paris to Willie Joe Ellingberg and Adeline Sarah Webb on Oct. 14, 1940. She served as a homemaker. A unique soul, Janet was very loving, and enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Additionally, Janet was greatly involved in the activities of her church.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ellingberg and Adeline Webb; her brother, Eddie Ellingberg, Jr.; and her grandson, Justin Michael Ellingberg.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 at First Assembly of God Church in Paris with the Rev. Kenny Maness officiating. Burial followed at the Gray Rock Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
She is survived by her one daughter, Billie Jean Bates of Subiaco; two sons, Coyle Ellingberg and wife Michele of Paris and Joseph Dewayne Ellingberg of Paris; sisters, Ella Louise Ellingberg of Paris, Billie Ruth Williams of Paris, Jerri White of Fort Smith, and Mary Evelyn Brown of Paris; grandchildren, Monica Lynn Finney, Shane Gregory Bates, Samantha Rae Moss and husband, Dakota, Jessica Rochelle Ellingberg, and Jalen Maurice Ellingberg; great- grandchild, Janai Marie Moss. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers were Teddy Lynn Brown, John Barnes, Lester Poole, Cletus Cravens, Frederick Thompson and Alex Rojas.
