Guyula Conley

Guyula Conley, 88 of Paris passed away on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 in Fort Smith.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1925 in Verdi, Tex. to her parents John W. and Asa (Fuller) Jennings.

Guyula was an active member of the Paris Church of Christ, a charter member of the Cattleman’s Association, NARFE and the American Legion Auxilliary. Guyula was the 2014 recipient of the Golden Harvest Award at the Logan County Fair in Paris, she was an avid reader and gardener and loved to play games with her family.

Guyula is preceded in death by her parents, John and Asa Jennings, her husband of 36 years Thurmond J. Conley, two sons, John Thomas Conley and Guy Ellis Conley.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Paint Rock Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com

Guyula is survived by two daughters, Sharon Murray and husband Gary of Russellville and Debra Schneider and husband Randy of Van Buren; six grandchildren, Cathy Brownfield and husband Cory of Nixa Mo., Jennifer Murray of Russellville, Jana Armstrong and husband Bryan of West Plains, Mo., Amy Schneider of Fort Smith, Tesa Murray of Maumelle and Paul Schneider of Fort Smith; five great-grandchildren, Abby Brownfield, Jace Brownfield, Cadence Godinez, LaRon Moore and Conley Moore, and many other nieces, nephews and family friends.

Pallbearers will be Gary Murray, Randy Schneider, Cory Brownfield, Bryan Armstrong, Jace Brownfield and Joe Don Koenigsader
