Gloria Dean Smith, 83, of Paris passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Paris. She was born on March 19, 1930 in Benton to her parents, James Edward and Opal (Teeter) Ashburn. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Opal Ashburn; husband, Pete Smith and sons, Michael Smith and Donald Smith.
Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m., on Monday, May 20, 2013 at First Assembly of God Church in Paris officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness, Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Earl Ray Teeter. She is survived by her daughter, Denice Bell and husband Lendol of Paris; four children that she raised as her own, Nora Chapman of Florida, Theresa Berg of Paris, Craig Farrell of Paris, and Bill Farrell of Dallas, Tex.; two brothers, Earl Ray Teeter and Carroll Teeter both of Midlothian, Tex.; two grandchildren, Patricia Bell of Paris and Eddie Bell and wife Tiffany of Kilbourne, La.; one great granddaughter, Erinelizabeth Star Bell of Paris.
Pallbearers were Douglas Smith, Mark Waltman, Dan Cummins, Jimmy Lee Boren, Craig Farrell and Paul Moore.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Don Smith and Thomas Robberson.
