Doris Diane Dercqu

Doris Diane Dercqu, 40, who resided in Etna, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at her home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1974 in New Brunswick, N.J. to Richard H. Dercqu and Judy (Miller) Dercqu. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard H. Dercqu.

She was a CNA and a member of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Family will visit with friends 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. Friday night, July 11 at the funeral home in Paris.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Baxley Cemetery in Paris, with the Rev. Bill Van Meter officiating, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her fiance, Richard Whitecotton of Etna; one daughter, Kayla Howell of Etna; two sons, Brandon Self and Colton Ming, both of Russellville; two step-daughters, Marcella Whitecotton of Washington and Maegan Whitecotton of Mulberry; two step-sons, Christopher Whitecotton of Rogers and Charles Whitecotton of Etna; her mother and step-father, Judy and David Good of Cabot; one sister, Melissa Swatloski of Cabot; two brothers, Teddy Crowell of Texas and Andre Dercqu of New Jersey; her maternal grandmother, Doris Rita Miller of New Jersey; two granddaughters; one step-grandson.
