Anna E. Bean

Anna E. Bean, 75, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

She was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Ozone, to the late Bee Andy Smith and Lillie May (Seyfert) Smith. She was a member of East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church, owner of Balloons N Things for 20-plus years, and co-owner and secretary/treasurer of Bean Tool and Die for 18 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bee Andy Smith and Lillie May (Seyfert) Smith; two brothers, James B. Smith and Roland Davis; two sisters, Emma Freeman and Betty Brammel.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating. Celebration of life (eulogy) will be given by Denton Tumbleson. Burial will follow in Stillwell Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Levon Bean of Clarksville; one daughter, Cynthia Diane Wewers of Clarksville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Corlew of Alabama; four brothers, Johnnie Smith of Clarksville, Donald Smith of Lamar, Jack Smith of Rogers and Gary Smith of Lamar.

Pallbearers will be Wendell Sears, E.J. Sexton, William Bean, Steve Bean, Cliff Clifton and Mike Yarbrough.

Honorary pallbearers will be brothers and brothers-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund.
