Paris man has food for the hungry

Using donations from five businesses in Paris, Ron Warnock, owner of Circle W Pawn, has purchased almost $1,000 worth of food which he will give away to those who are hungry.

Warnock got donations from Circle W Pawn, Bob Rogers Chevrolet, Paris Ford, Paris Muffler Shop and Ed Williams Body Shop to purchase the food, which is stored at Circle W Pawn.

Warnock has 80 cases of canned fruit and vegetables, 600 packages of cereal and some candy.

“The only stipulation is that you have to be hungry,” Warnock said Tuesday. “The food is all in date and it will be given away free to the hungry.”

Warnock said the food will be shared with Camp Hope For Heroes at Chaffee Crossing near Fort Smith and with homeless people in Fort Smith.

To get food, call Warnock at 963-2848 or 518-0840 or go by Circle W Pawn at 1615 West Walnut.
