The second annual Keep Paris Beautiful event will take place Saturday.
Students and staff from the Paris Schools will team up with volunteers from the community in an effort to clean up and beautify the community.
If you wish to participate, volunteers are asked to meet at the pavilion at Wood Street Park Saturday at 7:45 a.m.
The event will consist of several projects around the community, including planting trees at both the Wood Street Park and Veteran’s City park.
Other efforts include removing graffiti on one the downtown buildings and repainting it, painting a mural at the rodeo arena, painting a mural on the south side of the Wells Law Firm building on Courthouse Square and general trash pick up around the school campuses and community.
Several of local businesses have donated funds to provide supplies for the event and are also volunteering on the day of the project.
