Authorities looking for missing teenager

The Logan County Sheriffs Department is searching for a 16-year-old Paris High School student who was reported missing Tuesday morning by her godmother, according to department incident reports.

Deputies are searching for Serena Marie Atkins, a white female, approximately 5-foot-7 and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds, has short black hair parted to one side and has green eyes. When last seen she was wearing a green jacket with black stripes and carrying a bag or backpack, according to incident reports.

According to her godmother, she has no known medical conditions that require a prescription, the incident report states.

According to her godmother, Atkins left her residence on East State Highway 22 in Subiaco around 8:15 a.m. this morning and has not been seen since, the incident report states.

The incident report also states that the LCSD got a phone call this morning reporting that a young female asking for a ride to Fort Smith had just left a residence on Frederick Loop Road. A female was also reportedly seen walking past the Farmer’s Cooperative in Subiaco this morning.
