The Arkansas Health Department Unit in Paris is going to stay open later from April 1 until Sept. 30 to hold child immunization clinics.
The clinic will stay open until 6 p.m. on certain Thursdays. It will be open until 6 p.m. on April 3 and 17; May 1, 15 and 29; on June 12 and 26; on July 3, 17 and 31; on Aug. 14 and 28 and on Sept. 11 and 25.
Those seeking immunization shots are asked to make an appointment by calling the Paris unit at 963-6126. Walk-ins will be accepted.
“We will accept walk-ins as we can, but you should call ahead and make sure we can work you or your group in,” said Paula Beatty, the nurse in charge of health units in the county. “Parents must bring their child. They cannot come alone, even if they are able to drive.”
