Devil’s Due – Allison Miller and Zach Gilford star in this thriller about how an unplanned pregnancy mysteriously affects a young couple. The couple decides to document the pregnancy with a video camera. At first, the woman seems to be suffering from a standard case of nerves while carrying her child, but as each week passes, sinister changes to her mind and body become apparent. (R)

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit – Chris Pine, Kevin Costner, Kenneth Branagh and Keira Knightley star in this new film about the origins of Jack Ryan. Originally a young stock broker working for a millionaire in Russia, Ryan eventually is hired by the CIA. After Ryan is framed for a terrorist plot, Ryan must find his kidnapped wife and shine light on the true villains. (PG-13)

The Nut Job – The voices of Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fraser, Will Arnett and Stephen Lang accompany this new animated movie, which focuses on the not-so-legal antics of Surly the squirrel and Buddy the rat. The two schemers try to rob a nut store, but instead, they meet an unpredictable, enjoyable adventure. (PG)

Ride Along – Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and John Leguizamo star in this fast-paced comedy about Ben, an overzealous security guard who tries to job shadow James, a skilled, street-tough police detective. Ben tries to shake his video-game junkie persona to win the heart of James’ sister, Angela, as well as the approval and respect of James. Co-stars Tika Sumpter. (PG-13)
