The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 3D — Peter Parker and his web-slinging alter ego return when Spider-Man’s most ruthless villain, Electro, tries to take control. Stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx. (PG-13)

Bears — Disney’s feature showcases a year in the life of two bears and their relationships with their young cubs in Alaska. (G)

Brick Mansions — The late Paul Walker stars in this action film about an undercover police officer who goes after a vicious criminal who holds access to a dangerous bomb. (PG-13)

Captain America: The Winter Soldier — Chris Evans reprises his role as Steve Rogers, the red, white and blue Avenger, who is teamed with fellow Avenger Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). (PG-13)

Divergent — When she learns of a secret plan to destroy so-called divergents, a young woman joins the mysterious Four to learn more about the truth. Stars Theo James, Kate Winslet and Shailene Woodley. (PG-13)

Draft Day — Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner and Denis Leary are among the cast in this film about general manager Sonny Weaver, who just might be able to save football in Cleveland. (PG-13)

God’s Not Dead — College student Josh Wheaton finds his faith challenged by an outspoken atheist professor whose views go head to head with his faith-based thinking. Stars Kevin Sorbo, Shane Harper and David A.R. White. (PG)

A Haunted House 2 — Marlon Wayans, Ashley Richards, Jaime Pressley and Gabriel Iglesias star in this comedy about Malcom, a young man who wishes to exorcise demons from an ex and start a new life with a new girlfriend. (R)

Heaven Is for Real — Greg Kinnear, Margo Martindale and Thomas Haden Church star in this big-screen version of the popular book about Colton, a boy who claims to have briefly visited heaven following a near-death moment. (PG)

Legend of Oz: Dorothy’s Return in 3D — This new animated feature finds Dorothy waking up in a post-tornado Kansas before going back to Oz to save the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Lion and Glinda the Good Witch from the Jester. Features the voices of Lea Michele, James Belushi, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Megan Hilty and Kelsey Grammer. (PG)

Mr. Peabody & Sherman — The voices of Ty Burrell, Stephen Colbert and Lauri Fraser are heard in this animated feature, which follows the time-traveling adventures of a smart dog and his son. (PG)

Mom’s Night Out — Allyson and her friends strive to have a low-key evening while their husbands babysit the children, but the get-together turns into a humorous, unexpected series of events. Stars Sarah Drew, Sean Astin, Patricia Heaton, Trace Adkins, Abbie Cobb, Lisa Cash, Shee Dueitt and Rhoda Griffis. (PG)

Neighbors — Seth Rogen plays a family man who is forced into moving into a new neighborhood of busy, territorial fraternity students. The fraternity’s leader (Zac Efron) begins a duel with the man’s family. Also stars Rose Byrne, Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. (R)

Noah — Oscar winner Russell Crowe portrays Noah, who is called upon to build a massive, wooden ark to save creation from an impending doom. (PG-13)

Non-Stop — A marshal (Liam Neeson) jumps into action aboard a plane after he sees threatening text messages. (PG-13)

Oculus — Tim, who was convicted of killing his parents 10 years ago, is set free while his sister believes something else was responsible for the slaying of their parents. Stars Katee Sackhoff and Brenton Thwaites. (R)

The Other Woman — Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton and Leslie Mann lead the cast in this comedy about a woman who seeks revenge on her boyfriend, who turns out to be married. Also stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. (R)

The Quiet Ones — A curious professor and his students begin to experiment on a young girl they believe harbors dark secrets. Stars Erin Richards, Sam Claflin, Jared Harris and Rory Fleck-Byrne. (PG-13)

Rio 2 — Featuring the voices of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Tracy Morgan, Jemaine Clement, Leslie Mann and Will.i.am, this animated sequel finds Blu, Jewel and their kids living a new adventure in the Amazon. (G)

Son of God — This drama explores Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. (PG-13)

Transcendence — Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Kate Mara and Rebecca Hall lead the cast in this movie, which follows an expert in Artificial Intelligence. (PG-13)
