Bears — Disney’s new feature showcases a year in the life of two bears and their relationships with their young cubs in Alaska. The cubs enjoy running down the side of a mountain, but the threat of avalanches and other dangers is nearby. (G)

A Haunted House 2 — Marlon Wayans, Ashley Richards, Jaime Pressley and Gabriel Iglesias star in this comedy about Malcom, a young man who wishes to exorcise demons from an ex and start a new life with a new girlfriend. (R)

Transcendence — Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Kate Mara and Rebecca Hall lead the cast in this new movie, which follows an expert in Artificial Intelligence, who hopes to create an ideal machine that combines vast intelligence with a wide range of human emotions. (PG-13)

Frozen — A sister feels banished and turns a cold shoulder to her friends and family in this Oscar-winning animated feature. (PG)

God’s Not Dead — College student Josh Wheaton finds his faith challenged by an outspoken atheist professor whose views go head to head with his faith-based thinking. Stars Kevin Sorbo, Shane Harper and David A.R. White. (PG)

The Grand Budapest Hotel — The not-so-normal lives of a hotel lobby boy and his friend and legendary concierge, Gustave H, are examined. Stars Ralph Fiennes, F. Murray Abraham, Adrien Brody and Bill Murray. (R)

Heaven Is for Real — Greg Kinnear, Margo Martindale, Thomas Haden Church and Kelly Reilly star in this big-screen version of the popular book about Colton, a boy who claims to have briefly visited Heaven following a near-death moment. (PG)

Mr. Peabody & Sherman — The voices of Ty Burrell, Stephen Colbert and Lauri Fraser are heard in this animated feature, which follows the time-traveling adventures of a smart dog and his son. (PG)

Muppets Most Wanted — Ty Burrell, Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais join Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppet gang for fast-paced adventure that brings the Muppets face to face with those responsible for a jewel heist. (PG)

Need for Speed — After he is framed for a crime by a rich associate, a streetcar racer signs up for a dangerous cross-country race, where he hopes to hatch his plan for revenge. Stars Dominic Cooper and Aaron Paul. (PG-13)

Noah — Oscar winner Russell Crowe portrays Noah, who is called upon to build a massive, wooden ark to save creation from an impending doom. Also stars Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth and Logan Lerman. (PG-13)

Non-Stop — A U.S. Marshal (Liam Neeson) receives eerie text messages in the middle of an airplane flight to London demanding $150 million or plane passengers will be murdered. (PG-13)

The Nut Job — The voices of Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fraser, Will Arnett and Stephen Lang accompany this animated movie, which focuses on the not-so-legal antics of Surly the squirrel and Buddy the rat. (PG)
